We selected these stools for our new kitchen island. Because we have grandchildren as well as adults using the space, we liked the idea of the adjustable height. We were surprised that the seats were oval and not completely round but it's a nice feature that gives good width to the seat. We also have new wood floors and were concerned about the bottoms. We think they would be fine but decided to add some inexpensive felt discs to the bottoms and they work perfectly and make the stools even easier to move. We are very pleased with our selection and purchase. Our kids and grandkids love them too.
